What are your go-to fall fragrances?

My go-to Fall fragrance is my everyday fragrance, 24, Faubourg by Hermès. It is my absolute favorite and I consider it my signature scent. From the first whiff many, many years ago, I was in love. It is a heavier scent and most would only consider wearing it during the Fall or Winter but I wear it year-round. Described by the fashion house as “a floral, amber, sun drenched scent,” 24, Faubourg is an incredibly complex fragrance that evolves as the day goes on. And it is a truly enjoyable experience to notice the different notes as they develop. I’ll admit that I’ll catch myself smelling it during the day. I believe that your fragrance says a lot about you. It can say “flirty,” “sporty” or “exotic.” To me, 24, Faubourg screams “I am woman!” It’s bold and sensual yet approachable all at the same time. I had read that it was Princess Diana’s favorite fragrance and I can’t say that I’m surprised. She had a great eye for fashion and obviously a discerning nose for fragrance. It’s Our Birthday!

How true it is that time flies when you’re having fun. A year ago today, Ritual Beauty was launched and what an incredible first year it’s been! This company has been many years in the making and I feel truly blessed to be able to say it’s already been one year. My hope has been and always will be to help women be their best. Because when we look and feel our best, we are unstoppable.

I have to say the best part of this first year, was the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. It has been a true joy to meet so many people who have been incredibly supportive and helpful. And of course, I couldn’t have gotten through this first year without my loyal customers. You are why this company exists and nothing makes me happier than to hear that you love Ritual Beauty as much as I do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

On a daily basis, do you favor bright colors or neutrals?

Just a peek into my closet would pretty much answer this question. You would find a majority of my clothes are black, grey, brown with a some pops of color from brightly patterned dresses. The same goes for my makeup. I prefer to wear neutral colors on a day to day basis. First of all, sticking with a neutral palette is an easy way to look polished but not overly made up. And second, because a neutral face allows you to add a pop of color if you so desire. I love the look of a neutral eye and cheek with bold, red lips. Or, simply adding a bright blue or green eye liner to rev up your taupe eye shadow. There are times I like lots of color but that is either because it’s a special occasion or the outfit dictates the color. What about you, do you prefer bright colors or neutrals?
